Development of visions for the different neighbourhoods and study areas in Bandar Seri Begawan are well under way. In order to review the initial comments and recommendations from the various stakeholders, the consultancy team conducted design workshops on May 19 and 20.
Given Below are the highlights of those presentations. While these presentations lay out a general direction for development of these areas, the specifics of these ideas are preliminary and a work in progress. Your comments and suggestions will help us define the details of these ideas as the planning process approaches completion.

The BSB Development Master Plan is now in early stages of development of the neighbourhood visions. The consultancy team has begun working on the vision for Downtown Bandar as a vibrant and active Central Business District with a pedestrian friendly network of streets and an accessible water front along Sungai Brunei and Sungai Kedayan.
The consultancy team has also begun assessment of the Gadong Kiulap Lifestyle Center. Other neighbourhoods to be explored during this stage of the master plan include the civic center/ government center at the old airport site in BSB, a new Airport City along with the expansion of the BSB airport (already underway).
